Kristin Bemelmans (aka Bemel) paints as she lives: colourful, free and with full dedication. Her works are not the standard works of art you can expect. She paints in reverse on the backside of Plexiglass, without seeing the result herself.

“In a world where so many conditions have to be met, painting in reverse on Plexiglas gives me unprecedented freedom. My unique way of painting teaches me to let go of what my head wants to control. 

I hope to inspire people to show their true colours to the world. Authenticity is of paramount importance to me.
